Memento of absence
This painting/drawing(There will be no photo because we were not allowed to) represents the kiwi past time. A rugby stand we are all familiar with. Rugby is our national sport. In this picture i see, a well maintained empty stand in a sports park. At the front of the stand is a painted mural.
In my opinion the artist is trying to show emptiness since it has no people in it.
I rate this a 4 out of a 5.
This painting/drawing was in the Tauranga Art Gallery on Sunday 16 june 2013.
I am a Year 7 student at Tauranga Intermediate School, New Zealand. I am in Rm30 and my teacher is Mr Mossop.
