A day at the pool's

I Take one step forward to the diving board. My heart was thrashing through my weak skin.

I take a breath or two and step up,

CRACK!!

I dived into the chilly water like a cat pouncing onto a mouse,

the water flowed into my face. I popped my head out of the water like a crocodile and took a gasp of air, and went back under. My goggles were leaking in water very slowly, i didn’t have time to adjust them.

At the end of the race i heard muffled clapping from under the water.

Tech day 3

Thursday 6 March

Today we learnt how to make a multi coloured wood print using carving tools.

This print is the same as yesterday expect more colours.

Wednesday 5 March

At tech today we learnt how to make a clear wood print.

We used carving tools to make some parts indented on our paintings.

First we use the light colours then the dull colours.

In art tech today i learnt how to make a clear image.

We used dye to make a 3 layered print, the colours

I used were yellow, red and black.

Possum's

Possums eat all the native birds food and kill them,

They were first brought here to NZ in 1837.

Possum’s only come out at night, so they are called nocturnal,

There are about 30 million possums in NZ.

They can weigh between 1.4 - 6.4 Kgs,

Around 9,000 tonnes berries,Leaves and fruit are eaten every night.

Possums are native to Australia and are protected there,

Possum’s are a pest to new zealand.
